Chair Strength Training | Thursdays at 9am | Consistent exercise targeting strength and coordination has been found very effective at keeping us healthy longer. Join us for this low-impact class that can be done while seated in a chair. Listening to music, we will exercise our way to stronger bodies, healthier minds, and a way of life that promotes positive thinking and a hope for improved quality of life. |
Chair Strength & Toning | Mondays at 11:15am | This total body conditioning class utilizing a chair will focus on strengthening your muscles and bones while improving flexibility and range of motion about the joints. These safe exercises will be performed seated and standing as you are able, with modifications provided which tailor the class to suit individual needs. Enjoy this low-impact workout set to music and experience such benefits as improved heart and lung health, mobility, endurance, circulation, stability, mood, relaxation, pain management, and reduced stiffness. Country Line Dancing | Wednesdays 2:30pm to 4pm | Learn traditional and newer country line dances. Beginners and more experienced dancers welcome. |
Jazzercise Lo | Tues, Thurs & Fri at 8:45am | This low impact, modified version of Jazzercise dance fitness program provides 60 minutes of warm up, cardio, strength and stretch. |
Pilates | Tuesday at 9:00am and Thursday at 10:15am | Restorative and invigorating, this mindful mat class will strengthen your "powerhouse": abs, back, hips, buttocks and thighs. Develop long, lean muscles, heighten mind-body awareness and alleviate back pain. While practicing breath work, improve core stability, circulation, coordination and balance, flexibility, control and stamina, body alignment and posture, all while relieving stress and tension. Bring graceful, elegant economy of movement to your everyday life! Exercise mat required, however exercises can be modified for the chair. |
Resistance Band Class | Wednesday at 7:50am & 9:00am and Thursday at 10am | Resistance bands are an amazing fitness tool for people of all fitness levels! Strength training with resistance bands is a great way for active adults to become stronger and more flexible while fighting bone loss, arthritis, and back pain. All exercises in this class can be done standing or seated and bands will be provided. Come join us and feel energized as we work on strength, balance and flexibility. |
Strength Training | Monday and Wednesday at 9:00am and 10:00am, Friday at 10:00am (1 hour class) | Join us for this fun and diverse total body workout as we exercise every major muscle group to increase strength, endurance and flexibility. Improve cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary health, bone density, balance, coordination, dexterity, range of motion, as well as mood, mental focus and acuity. These exercises can aid in pain management (of arthritis symptoms for example). Develop a sense of well-being and camaraderie in this upbeat and supportive group. Enjoy our engaging instructors’ calorie burning routines set to lively music and finish with a relaxing cool-down. Dumbbells are provided for the standing and seated exercises. |

Yoga | Mon at 2pm & Wed at 10:15am | Yoga is one of the best ways to keep yourself feeling lively and healthy as you age! Slow and gentle yoga with a holistic approach that focuses on strength, balance, flexibility, bringing mobility to the joints and breath control. Poses when practiced regularly will contribute to improvement of physical strength, mental clarity and the cognitive connection to both. We will be doing standing poses and poses on the floor. Remember to bring your mat. |
Yogalates | Fridays at 8:45am | A fun fusion of Yoga and Pilates: gain strength, flexibility, and mental clarity while burning calories! This gentle, low impact, full body workout is super effective and will have you feeling wonderful on all levels…mind, body, and spirit. This Yogalates class blends the careful focus of Pilates exercises for long lean muscles and core strength with Yoga poses which strengthen and tone muscles, increase muscle flexibility and range of motion about the joints, improve balance, stimulate circulation, aid in detoxifying the body, improve mood, destress and boost relaxation, improve spine health, and so much more!
