Throughout the years the mission of the Newark Senior Center has been enhanced by the generosity of members of our community. Led by current and past Board of Directors and staff members, many have taken the initiative to recognize the importance of the Center in their lives through a planned gift.
The Education Wing, the expansion of the Meals on Wheels Program, the addition of the Fitness Center and the lounge area were all made possible through legacy gifts from our members and other local community members. As we look to the future, we hope that you too, will consider including the Center in your estate plan, helping us to continue with our mission of enhancing the lives of the 50+ community by providing resources and opportunities for growth in body, mind and spirit for many years to come.
The Newark Senior Center Legacy Society has been established to recognize those who have designated the Newark Senior Center with a legacy gift in their estate plan. Members of the NSC Legacy Society have joined by way of various planned giving instruments such as wills, IRA’s, charitable trusts, life insurance, etc. or by making a contribution to the NSC Endowment Fund.
To notify the Senior Center about a planned gift that you have already established please contact Carla Grygiel, Executive Director or Jessica Feinberg, Development Director (302) 737-2336. All inquiries are treated with complete confidence.
