Group discussions focus on sharing information, sympathy, laughter and coping skills. We invite guest speakers on topics such as: how to deal with a person with dementia, caregiver relief, and financial planning.

HEARING LOSS SUPPORT GROUP

Facilitators: Linda Heller & Jeanne Oliver, Hearing Loss Association of Delaware

Ms. Heller, an audiologist with a hearing loss will discuss how hearing loss impacts everyday living, your brain and your ability to keep socially engaged and live a fulfilling life. She will discuss that latest developments in hearing aids, cochlear implants and you can try a hearing loop; be amazed at how you can hear better! Bring a friend!

HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown helps individuals and their caregivers live and cope with effects of traumatic brain injuries. Here, you can meet others with similar experiences, offer support, share information, and learn about community resources. Sessions are facilitated by a BAID board member and a HealthSouth Middletown team member.

STROKE SUPPORT GROUP
