Share great times together as you discover quaint towns, unique resorts, historic sites, numerous cultural attractions, including museums, dinner theatre's performing arts experiences and sporting arenas.  Make lasting memories as you enjoy overnight and extended trips to spectacular destinations.  If your travel plans require excitement and adventure, we have it. 

DAY & EXTENDED TRIP POLICY
• REGISTER IN PERSON OR BY PHONE, MONDAY – FRIDAY, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
• The times listed in the newsletter for each specific trip are the scheduled departure & the return time to NSC. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the designated time for departure.
• Park in the back of the building in the last rows of the parking lot.
• Payment in full is due at registration for DAY trips. Phone reservation is available; however, a credit card payment is required. If sending in a payment by check, please note that you will be added to the trip once your payment is received at NSC. Include the name of the trip and the trip date on your check as well as the names of each member/participant & their address/phone number & the emergency contact person/phone number for each person in your party. We ask that you sign up no more than four people at one time.
• Some trips may be scheduled for more than one time throughout the calendar year. If you are currently on the waiting list for a specific trip and the same trip is scheduled again for another date, you are not automatically put on the list for that trip. You must call and register for each date.
• Extended Trips: Deposit is due at registration and date for final payment is listed on flyer & in newsletter. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the designated time for departure.
• AN EMERGENCY CONTACT NAME/PHONE NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TRAVELERS.
• REFUNDS – will not be given for cancellations unless seat/tickets can be resold. Refund in the form of credits will be given for cancelled trips costing $15 or less.
• INDIVIDUALS REQUIRING ASSISTANCE – The Newark Senior Center will make every effort to secure wheel-chair lift charter buses to
accommodate individuals with disabilities; please notify Receptionist when you make your reservation. Due to the limited availability of these buses in Delaware, NSC members must reserve seating 48 hours prior to trip. Individuals requiring assistance to meet their basic needs must travel with a companion. A paid reservation must also be placed for this companion to ensure seating.
